Buy a Print

There are THREE distinct ways to buy a signed and numbered custom Baron Wolman print.

The FIRST is to buy directly online. Click on any of the gallery links below to peruse the selection of images available. Find a photograph you like, click on “buy” and voilà, your Baron Wolman print will soon arrive at your door.

The SECOND is to visit one of the several friendly, professional galleries which exhibit and sell my prints. Some are “brick & mortar galleries,” some are solely online galleries, some are both. Click on “My Galleries” for the complete list.

The THIRD is to contact me directly in Santa Fe via email ( bwolman@fotobaron.com ) or phone, 505-466-4606. (Santa Fe is on Mountain Time so please take that into consideration when you call.)

Several types of prints are available. The most popular is the silver gelatin print.

We have also produced a series of platinum/palladium prints in 16×20 and 20×24 sizes only.

Several of my images are offered in color, and a very small number are available as inkjet prints.

Nearly all of my silver gelatin and color prints are now signed by me and numbered. 11×14 and 16×20 inch prints are produced in editions of 150 of any single image while 20×24 inch prints are produced in editions of 75.

Platinum prints on 16×20 inch paper are limited to 150 prints. Platinum prints on 20×24 inch paper are limited to 35 prints. Most of the individual 20×24 inch prints are sold out; the others are included in the platinum portfolio, “Icons of Rock.” The portfolio contains six 20×24 inch platinum prints in a handmade custom portfolio box: Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Mick Jagger, Pete Townshend, Janis Joplin and Frank Zappa.

Regarding print numbering, it is possible to purchase a specially numbered print. For example, if your favorite number is 24 and if it is still available, you may order “Number 24” of any image. The first five numbers of each edition are “premium numbers.” Numbers 1 through 5 command a slightly higher price. Finally, if you own an unnumbered print, please contact me and I will assign it a number retroactively. Following directions I will supply, you yourself can then add the number to the print using an archival pen filled with permanent ink (I prefer the Micron).
